Sign up as a Leader or Follower Partners are assigned randomly — you won’t know who you’ll dance with until the draw is done! Dance to a surprise track selected by our DJ Multiple rounds – you will dance with different partners Judges evaluate each dancer individually based on timing, style, and connection The top dancers advance to the finals — and compete at the final.

All competitors will be judged individually. Male judges will judge the leaders. Female judges will judge the followers
✅Timing (30%):
- Keep the beat steady and clean.
- Musicality and rhythm accuracy
- Phrasing and timing
- Respect for musical accents
✅Technique (40%)
- Body control, balance, posture
- Clear lead & follow
- No acrobatics
✅Connection (20%)
- Dancers’ ability to understand each other and have fun.
- Adaptability to random partners
✅The Attitude & Styling (10%)
- Individual interpretation and self-expression on the dance floor (organic, not performance)
Competitors may be disqualified for:
✅Performing lifts (at least one foot must stay on the floor)
✅Dancing dangerously or off-time
✅Being under the influence of drugs/alcohol
✅Inappropriate behaviour or language
All competitors must:
✅All competitors must have a full pass or a Saturday Pass for the event (Jack & Jill is part of the festival experience and cannot be entered as a
standalone competition.)
