1. Ticket Purchase and Access

All tickets (Full Passes, Day Passes, Party Passes) are non-refundable.

In the event of a cancellation of the festival by the Organizer, a full refund or credit for a future edition will be provided (excluding booking fees).

Tickets are transferable to another person only with the written consent of the Organizer and may be subject to an administration fee.
2. Media Waiver & Photography (GDPR Compliant)
By purchasing a ticket and entering the festival premises (CIE Inchicore Hall or other official venues), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Consent to Filming: You grant Carnaval Dance Festival the right to photograph, film, and record your likeness and voice.

Usage Rights: You grant the Organizer a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use these images and recordings for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes across all media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Website, YouTube, etc.).

Waiver of Royalties: You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and waive any claims for royalties, right to publicity, or financial compensation regarding the use of your image.

Opt-Out: If you have a specific privacy concern and do not wish to be the primary subject of a photo or video, you must inform the official photographer/videographer on-site or contact the Organizer via email prior to the event.
3. Artist Lineup & Schedule

The Organizer reserves the right to change the artist lineup (e.g., Panagiotis & Myrto, etc.) or the workshop schedule due to unforeseen circumstances such as travel delays, illness, or force majeure.

No refunds will be issued based on changes to specific instructors or DJs.
4. Health, Safety, and Conduct

Assumption of Risk: Dancing is a physical activity. By attending, you assume all risks related to physical injury or lost/stolen property. The Organizer is not liable for injuries sustained during workshops or social dancing.

Code of Conduct: We maintain a “Zero Tolerance” policy for harassment or unsafe behavior. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee from the venue without a refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, aggressive, or dangerous to others.

Alcohol: Only alcohol purchased at the venue’s licensed bar (if applicable) may be consumed. External alcohol is strictly prohibited.
5. Data Protection

Your personal data collected during the ticket purchase (Name, Email, etc.) will be stored securely and used only for communication regarding the festival and future editions, in accordance with EU GDPR regulations. We will never sell your data to third parties.
6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
